The Township of Wilmot operates and maintains more than 218 acres of green space in Wilmot Township. This includes sports fields, parks, trails, woodlots, waterways, and much more. We encourage you to respect and protect these lands at all times by following some basic tips:
- Obey all signs posted in the park
- Stay on designated trails and respect all trail users
- Keep parks clean by putting litter in park garbage cans
- Do not put household waste in park garbage cans
- Keep dogs on leashes at all times and do not let them roam free
- Pets are not permitted on sports fields
- Pick up your pet waste with a compostable bag - then take it home and put it in your green bin
- Do not approach or disturb wildlife
- Do not disturb, remove or plant vegetation
- Remember, encroachment on public property is prohibited
