Changes to the Official Plan are sometimes required to reflect changes to Provincial policy and Region of Waterloo policies and to allow new development or redevelopment proposals. Opportunities for public review and input are provided through the Official Plan amendment process.
Official Plan amendment applications are available on our Planning application forms page. Prior to filing an application we strongly recommend contacting our Planning division and reviewing the application fees.
