Property Taxes
Tax Certificates
Tax certificates (which also contain water/wastewater balances associated with a property) are available for a fee of $85 from the Township of Wilmot.
Tax certificates are only issued on Tuesdays and Thursdays; we do not offer a "rush" certificate option.
Submission and payment for a tax certificate can be made via our General Payments form via credit card. If you do not wish to make payment via credit card, please email your request on company letter head to tax@wilmot.ca, and forward payment to our office via cheque.
Tax certificates will not be generated until both written request and payment have been received. Cheques can be made payable to the Township of Wilmot, and mailed to 60 Snyder's Road West, Baden, ON, N3A 1A1.
Please be advised that we do not provide verbal updates of tax certificates. Inquiries to tax certificates will be honored for 10 business days following the date of issuance, and will be provided in writing only.
Should you require additional information related to a property following the 10 business day inquiry window, you will be required to resubmit request and pay for a second tax certificate.
Tax Sales
