The Township of Wilmot has launched the development of a new Community Services Master Plan. It will provide a roadmap to enhance and grow the Township’s parks and recreation facilities and services for residents, user groups and visitors, now and into the future.
The Master Plan will guide decision-making across all aspects of parks and recreation, from playgrounds to facilities and everything in between. The project will also include a robust service delivery review to ensure efficiency and alignment with community needs and staff capacity.
The consulting firm of McQueen Galloway Associates (MGA) has been retained by the Township to complete all phases of this project.
Engagement Opportunities
Public engagement is an essential part of the project. It helps build a common understanding of the issues and empowers residents to have their say in the future of the Township. We will work with the community to ensure concerns and ideas are incorporated in the development of the plan where possible.
There is also a public workshop scheduled for March 26.
What: Public Workshop, Community Services Master Plan
When: Tuesday, March 26, 2024—6:30 p.m.
