The Township of Wilmot provides three arena surfaces for your enjoyment. Two arenas, the Schout Performance Arena and the Optimist Arena, are located at the Wilmot Recreation Complex. The third arena, the New Hamburg Arena, is located at the New Hamburg Community Centre.
The Optimist Arena is operated on a year-round basis as an ice surface; the Schout Performance Arena has ice in it from late August until early April, and the New Hamburg Arena operates as an arena floor only on a year round basis (no ice).
In addition to being the home of many of our local sporting groups, these facilities are also ideal for hosting larger sporting and special events.
