Sidewalks

There are approximately 75 kilometres of sidewalks of various widths in Baden, New Hamburg, Mannheim, New Dundee and St. Agatha.

Sidewalk Responsibility

The Township completes an annual inspection and a repair program to ensure that all sidewalks meet minimum maintenance standards.

Clearing of snow and ice from sidewalks is the responsibility of the property owner.  

Reporting a Sidewalk Problem

Please use the Report a Problem form if you are concerned about a section of sidewalk that may require repair.

In order for the Township to investigate and make the appropriate repairs, please include the following:

• Name of street
• Lane of street (i.e. northbound, right lane)
• Address of the nearest building
• Cross street information, if available
• Pictures
