Wilmot Welcomes Santa Claus to the Wilmot Aquatics Centre Dec. 23

Families invited to Swim with Santa, Bring Items for the Wilmot Family Resource Centre

BADEN, ONT., Nov. 28, 2023 – Ho ho ho. It’s that time of year again, when the bearded fellow in red shows up at malls and parties and…swimming pools?

The Township of Wilmot has invited Santa Claus to lead two one-hour Swimming with Santa sessions—one at 3:30 p.m. and one at 4:30 p.m.—on Saturday, Dec. 23 at the Aquatics Centre at the Wilmot Recreation Complex. Admission for those 17 and under is $20. Up to two adults can attend with each child, with each adult paying the regular admission price or bringing a non-perishable item for the Wilmot Family Resource Centre to the event.

The swim sessions also include a small gift from Santa and a photo with Santa that will be sent digitally after the event by email. Participants can register at Wilmot recWeb (activecommunities.com) and check out details at Swimming Schedules - Wilmot Township.

The swimming events are at both pools at the Wilmot Recreation Complex at 1291 Nafziger Rd. There is a capacity of 100 people for the leisure pool, which is a warm pool. Please note that Wilmot’s swim admission policy applies to both swim times. Register early to avoid missing out.
