The Township of Wilmot joins communities around the world in mourning the loss of the longest-reigning monarch in British history and Canada's Head of State, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
"On behalf of the Township, I want to extend our sincere condolences to the Royal Family on the loss of Her Majesty," said Mayor Armstrong. "May her service and dedication to Britain and the Commonwealth be a legacy for the world. May she rest in peace."
To honour Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, a Book of Condolences is now available at the Administration Complex at 60 Snyder's Road West, in Baden. We invite you to pay your respects to the Royal Family by sharing a kind message in this book, which will be delivered to Buckingham Palace on behalf of the Township of Wilmot. The book will be available to the public from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on weekends from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m until Sunday, September 18.
