If you wish to operate a business on an agricultural property (other than a home occupation) you will need to an application for certificate of occupancy. Regulations for operating the business are found on page 4 of the form.

To sell door-to-door or in a specific location such as a sporting goods show, furniture auction, etc. you are required to complete a Hawkers and Pedlars/Specific Location Daily Sales application form.

To operate a hot dog stand, fry wagon, ice cream truck, mobile canteen etc. on any property within the Township of Wilmot, you are required to complete a Refreshment Vehicle/Cart Application form.

Refreshment Vehicles/Carts are permitted only in commercial, industrial, and institutional zones with authorization from the property’s owner.
