Sidewalk network in Wilmot
There are approximately 75 km's of sidewalks of various widths in Baden, New Hamburg, Mannheim, New Dundee and St. Agatha.
Sidewalk responsibility
The Township completes an annual inspection and a repair program to ensure that all sidewalks are in a good state of repair. Clearing of snow and ice from sidewalks is the responsibility of the property owner.
Reporting a problem with a sidewalk
If you are concerned about a section of sidewalk that may require repair please contact the Public Works Department.
In order for the Township to investigate and make the appropriate repairs please include the following:
- Name of street
- Lane of street (i.e. northbound, right lane)
- Address of the nearest building
- Cross street information, if available
- Pictures
