Becoming a firefighter is one of the most challenging, fast-paced and rewarding professions available. Firefighting has created a sense of community that continues today in the commitment of volunteer firefighters, and is evident through their effort and dedication in providing fire protection services to local areas and the larger community.
Being a firefighter requires you to dedicate time to responding to emergency calls and to commit to many hours of training. There are many benefits.

Qualified applicants are invited to submit their cover letter and application or resume, clearly marked “Firefighter - Station Location”, by email to haley.mores@wilmot.ca or in person at the Parks and Fire Administration Centre, 30 Neville St, New Hamburg. The application MUST be submitted NO LATER than Friday, October 3, 2025, at 4:30 pm. |
