Through the projects listed below, we invite you to share your thoughts on proposed by-laws and changes to them.
Noise By-law review
Due to the changing needs of the growing community and the need to create a more user friendly by-law, the Township of Wilmot's Municipal Law Enforcement would like to modernize the current Noise By-law through various public consultation opportunities including an online survey and in-person engagement events. Proposed changes for consideration
- Include specific times and places when noise is not permitted
- Provide a clear process for noise exemption requests
- Listed permeant noise exemptions for council approved community events (i.e. Canada Day, Victoria Day, Castle Kilbride concerts, etc.).
Online survey
By completing the online survey and offering your feedback, you will help inform the changes made the the Noise By-law. You will also be entered into a draw to win a Weekend in Wilmot prize pack that includes 4 free skating passes to the Wilmot Recreation Complex and a family pass to Castle Kilbride. Members of the public will have until Friday, June 9 at 4:30 p.m. to submit feedback through the survey.
