The Active Living Centre is a gathering place for older adults (ages 55+). The facility features a billiards area, lounge area, gaming area, lending library and offers a variety of activities to help you live a healthy and active lifestyle!
Seniors Month provides an opportunity to acknowledge the valuable roles that seniors play in shaping our community.
Through various events and activities, throughout Waterloo Region, Seniors Month aims to promote social inclusion, health and wellness, and intergenerational connections.
All participants are required to have an Active Living Centre Card to attend programming. Get your free card at the Active Living Centre inside the Wilmot Recreation Complex at 1291 Nafziger Road in Baden or by calling 519-634-9225 ext. 340.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

SMART Gentle Exercise Program |
This FREE exercise program is designed for the practice of daily tasks from reaching to the top shelf to bending down to tie your shoes for stretching, lifting and reaching, and helps maintain balance and coordination. Offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. and from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. This course is run by training staff from Community Care Concepts. |
Wii Fitness |
Enjoy some fitness fun playing games with Wii! Games include; bowling, baseball, soccer, fencing, tennis, obstacle courses and more! Drop in program. Offered yi-weekly on Thursdays from 2:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. $1.00 fee |
Track your Trails |
Join us for a bi-weekly walking club every other Tuesday from 2:15p.m until 3:30 p.m. We will utilize the indoor walking track for individual walking as well as the Schmidt Trails behind the Wilmot Recreation Complex. |
Line Dancing |
Join us on Fridays from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for line dancing. |

Book Club |
Offered every three weeks on Thursday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. New books are released every 3-weeks through the Region of Waterloo Library Book Club Program. Please contact Lacey Smith at 519-634-9225 for more information on meeting dates and getting registered. |

Have you ever wanted to argue and prove your point? Then Debate Club is for you! join us for program where we will give you topics to debate and argue your point as to why one is better than the other using logic and proof in your statements. Join us for loud voices and lots of laughs along the way. |

Welcome to our Drop in Craft timeslot for your personal unfinished projects for a space to create and complete. Please note that the materials that you will have access to are limited. Thursday Mornings from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. weekly. |
