The Active Living Centre is a gathering place for older adults (ages 55+). The facility features a billiards area, lounge area, gaming area, lending library and offers a variety of activities to help you live a healthy and active lifestyle!
All participants are required to have an Active Living Centre Card to attend programming. Get your free card at the Active Living Centre inside the Wilmot Recreation Complex at 1291 Nafziger Road in Baden or gain more information by calling 519-634-9225 ext. 340.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

SMART Gentle Exercise Program |
This FREE exercise program is designed for the practice of daily tasks from reaching to the top shelf to bending down to tie your shoes for stretching, lifting and reaching, and helps maintain balance and coordination. Offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. and from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. This course is run by training staff from Community Care Concepts. |

Coffee Club runs during morning programming in the ALC. This program can occur during other morning programs (e.g. Billiards).

Congregate Dining Program: |
Cost: $14.00 Runs on the fourth Thursday of each month by Community Care Concepts. Registration is required by the Friday at noon the week before the lunch occurs; by calling 1-855-664-1900. Please check the ALC Calendar for monthly meal menu. |

Join us after the congregate dining lunch at 1:45 p.m. to hear Carolyn from the New Hamburg Branch returns to talk about the various ways to borrow both tangible books and e-books (feel free to bring your device and library cards for help with downloading books electronically)! Join us for two music bingo bi-weekly on Tuesday afternoons as we defrost those favourite seasonal songs with a music bingo that’ll kick off the most wonderful time of the year! |

Join the Active Living Centre Garden club! Join us in tending to our indoor gardens at the Active Living Centre using the hydroponics tent from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. We grow houseplants, herbs, microgreens and vegetables to enjoy at home! This program is provided by Community Care Concepts. |

Want to stock up on your recipes? The last Wednesday of every month bring in one of your recipes to swap. Take time to try new foods, techniques and maybe find a staple recipe |

If you need some motivation or a cute Christmas present, join us to make a cookie mix jar. December 8: Pour Painting Wreaths — Want a unique holiday decoration that shows off your crafting skills? Join us as we combine the well-loved pour painting technique with December 15: Macrame Trees — Deck out your keychain, make a Christmas ornament, or a wall hanging out of a macrame cord.
