Community Event: Wilmot Community Conversation on Public Safety

Over the last few months, Mayor and Council have heard from residents across Wilmot Township about a concerning increase in crime. With these concerns in mind, Mayor and Council have partnered with the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) to host a Wilmot Community Conversation on Public Safety. High-ranking WRPS officers will be in attendance to hear directly from residents, address your concerns, and share practical tips to help protect our community and each other.
Event Details:
  • Date: Monday, November 18, 2024
  • Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Location: New Hamburg Community Centre, 251 Jacob St., New Hamburg
This is an opportunity for residents to engage with law enforcement and your elected representatives to find proactive solutions and gain valuable tools for safeguarding property and enhancing community safety.

While RSVP is not required, it would help us plan for the evening. You can RSVP here: https://bit.ly/WilmotCommunityConversationPublicSafety.

For additional questions, please reach out to your ward councillor or contact Carly Pettinger at carly.pettinger@wilmot.ca.

We look forward to seeing you there as we work together to keep Wilmot Township a safe and welcoming community.
