Township provides update on Snyder's Rd. and Foundry St. reconstruction project

The Township would like to inform the public about ongoing construction work around Snyder’s Rd. W and Foundry St.

The next phase of the project is currently expected to begin around the week of October 6 and will temporarily change public access to the Township Administration Complex and Castle Kilbride. Construction is expected to be completed in November.

Note: All dates and timelines are subject to change.

Project Progress

Around the week of October 6, crews are expected to have completed all underground work on:

  • Foundry St. (Snyder’s Rd. to Charles St.)
  • Snyder’s Rd. W (Foundry St. to the Tim Hortons driveway)

Watermain, sanitary, and storm sewer replacement work will continue along:

  • Snyder’s Rd. W (Mill St. to the Tim Hortons driveway)

Road Access (starting around the week of October 6)

Open:

  • Foundry St. to Charles St.
  • Snyder’s Rd. W to Tim Hortons driveway
  • Intersection of Snyder’s Rd. W and Foundry St.

Closed:

  • Snyder’s Rd. W from Mill St. to Tim Hortons driveway
  • Intersection of Snyder’s Rd. W and Mill St.

Access Information (starting around the week of October 6)

  • Castle Kilbride & Township Administration Office: Access via Wagler Ave.
  • Tim Hortons: Access from the east on Snyder’s Rd.
  • EJ’s: Access via Mill St.

Business Access

  • All businesses within the construction area remain open.
  • Please follow posted directional signage for business access and détour routes to ensure smooth travel through the area.
