Wilmot's annual Canada Day event takes place each year on July 1 and features a range of family-friendly activities. The event is organized by Township of Wilmot Staff with collaboration from community volunteers.

The Canada Day event staff and volunteers are in the early stages of planning the Wilmot Canada Day 2026 Celebrations. We welcome your input and appreciate your feedback.

Volunteers

Volunteers are an integral part of the Wilmot Canada Day event. Make new connections, contribute to your community and have fun!

We will offer a variety of placements including gate attendant, parking attendant, Kid Zone attendant, Dunk Tank attendant, Youth Zone attendants and much more! Check out the Volunteer Application for a complete list of roles.

Community Groups and Vendors

Vendors, community groups and organizations are invited to promote their offerings at the event each year. We will be focusing on local crafts and goods, and aim to offer a variety of vendors and items. Vendor applications for this year’s event will be open from February 1 to May 20, 2026.

Event Sponsorship

Each year, we offer a variety of sponsorship opportunities. New this year, sponsors can choose from four corporate sponsorship levels, in addition to a limited number of custom, first-come options. Explore our sponsorship options below.

2026 Sponsorship Packages

Platinum Package $1000+

All items in the Gold Package
Organization logo shown individually on water trailer digital display
High-visibility main stage banner display for the full event, exclusive for four sponsors.

Gold Package $500+

All items in the Silver Package
Your organization recognized verbally from main stage throughout the event
Logo included on the Wilmot Canada Day event webpage

Silver Package $250 - $499

All items in the Bronze Package
Custom post shared on the Township of Wilmot's social media recognizing your organization's contribution (must provide logo)

Bronze Package $100 - $249

Name of organization included in a thank-you ad in local paper following the event
Organization name included on signage at the event indicating the names of all sponsors in each tier

Custom Options Pricing varies

Many event activities and designated areas such as Kids Zone, Teen Zone, Top Shot Hockey, Inflatables, the Dunk Tank and more are available for sponsorship on a first-come, first-served basis.

Secure Your Sponsorship

Ready to put your organization in the spotlight? Here's what's next.

Step 1: Email

Please email your expression of interest and any questions to us by April 1, 2026

Please indicate which sponsorship package you are interested in (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze or Custom)
Platinum and Custom Sponsorships are available on a first come, first served basis.

Step 2: Confirmation

You will receive an email in seven business days confirming your sponsorship request.

Step 3: Payment

Payment must be received by June 1, 2026. Acceptable methods of payment include the following:

Cheques made out to the Township of Wilmot. In the memo, please include "Sponsorship-Canada Day" and organization contact. Cheques can be dropped off in person or mailed to 60 Snyder's Rd. W., Baden, ON., N3A 1A1.
Credit Card payments can be made in person at the Township Administrative Office (60 Snyder's Rd. W., Baden)
Online credit card payments can be made through our online payment form (limit of $2,750). On the form, please select "Sponsorship-Canada Day" from the drop down menu.

Step 4: Logos

Please provide a high resolution PNG, JPEG, or PDF of your logo by April 13, 2026 if you are a Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Custom Package sponsor. If your logo is not provided by this date, we will display your organization's name in text only.
