Wilmot's annual Canada Day event takes place each year on July 1 and features a range of family-friendly activities. The event is organized by Township of Wilmot staff with collaboration from community volunteers.

Volunteers
Volunteers are an integral part of the Wilmot Canada Day event. Make new connections, contribute to your community and have fun!
We will offer a variety of placements including gate attendant, parking attendant, Kid Zone attendant, Dunk Tank attendant, Youth Zone attendants and much more! Check out the Volunteer Application for a complete list of roles.

Community Groups and Vendors
Vendors, community groups and organizations are invited to promote their offerings at the event each year. We will be focusing on local crafts and goods, and aim to offer a variety of vendors and items. Vendors are required to provide their own Insurance to participate. Vendor applications for this year’s event will be open from February 1 to Wednesday May 20, 2026 at 4 pm

Food Vendors
We are excited to welcome food vendors to the 2026 Canada Day event. We will be selecting a total of 7 food Trucks total this year, with 4 food and 3 dessert trucks based on the space and layout. Priority will be given to local vendor operators, vendors with valid licenses and vendors in good standing with the Township of Wilmot. Successful vendors will be a first come first selected, based on the priority factors listed above. Priority consideration will also be given to vendor operators whom offer/cater to dietary restrictions. Food vendors are required to provide their own Insurance to participate. Food Vendor applications for this years event will be open from March 1 to Wednesday May 20, 2026 at 4 pm.
