Accessible Playground

Location 291 Nafziger Road, Baden, Ontario
Description Located at the the Wilmot Recreation Complex is the Township's first accessible playground. The 4600 square foot playground features two types of accessible surfacing and unique play structures to create hours of fun. The equipment promotes inclusion with ample opportunity for ground level play as well as several choices for sensory play. The park also seating, a shade structure and parking.

Baden/Sir Adam Beck Community Park

Location 215 Snyder's Road East, Baden
Description Sir Adam Beck Park, also known as Baden Park, is an 11 acre community park located just off Snyder's Road in Baden. The park features two baseball diamonds, tennis courts, a picnic shelter, skateboard park, sports fields, playground and washrooms.

Brenneman Park

Description This 0.28 acre neighbourhood park features a play structure for toddlers.

Goldschmidt Park

Description This 2.16 acre neighbourhood park features a playground for toddlers and children two to ten years of age and seating.

Linear Park

Description This .89 acres of parkland contains an accessible pathway that begins on the east side of the Township Administration Office, extends to Baden Public School and then extends further to Goldschmidt Park.

Livingston Square

Description Livingston Square is located on the east side of the Township of Wilmot Administration Complex. It is a landscaped park that features a gazebo, fountain, and benches. It is part of the 6.7 acres of green space located in the heart of Baden at the Township. It is a great location for weddings and photography.

Oasis in the Centre Park

Description This 0.5 acre regional park was a special project, constructed to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Township of Wilmot. The site contains a sculpture honouring the 150th anniversary, benches, pathways and plantings. It is a great location for photography.

Schneller Park

Anna Tuerr Park

Mannheim Community Park

Description This 7 acre community park features a softball diamond, intermediate size soccer field, horseshoe pits, picnic shelter and playground for children two to ten years of age.

Captain MacCallum Park

Description This 1.17 acre neighbourhood park  features a playground for children ages two to ten years of age.

Constitution Park

Description This 3.44 acre neighbourhood park features age-specific playground equipment, a paved walkway, green space and a small toboggan hill for children.

Greenwood Park

Description This 0.11 acre neighbourhood park features a swing set and slide.

Haysville Community Park

Description Located at the Haysville Community Centre, this 2.26 acre community park features a tot playground, scrub diamond, picnic tables, shade structure and parking.

Heritage Park

Description This 8.23 acre park features meandering pathways along the Nith River and is the home to North America’s largest operating water wheel. This park is recognized as one of the most scenic areas in the Township of Wilmot, and is an location for weddings and photography. Washrooms are available.

Kirkpatrick Park

Description This 3 acre park is one of the most picturesque parks in Wilmot Township. It is located on the banks of the Nith River, and has a gazebo which provides a beautiful setting for weddings and special occasion photos. It also features commuter parking spaces and an EV charging station.

Norm Hill Park

Riverside Park

Scott Park

Description This 27 acre regional park is the largest park in Wilmot Township. It is known for its beautiful scenery along the Nith River. It features two picnic shelters, one tennis court, one multi-purpose court, a play structure, six mini soccer fields, a public boat launch and Wilmot's Off-Leash Dog Park.

Wilmot Arboretum

Description The Wilmot Arboretum is a 5.9 acre regional park features more than seventy species of native and exotic trees. It was developed in 1956 as the Waterloo County Arboretum to demonstrate soil conservation techniques and was the first of its type in Ontario.

Wilmot's Off Leash Dog Park

Description This .75-acre dog park located in Scott Park (75 Hunter St., New Hamburg) is open daily, 6 a.m. until dusk, and has two separately enclosed areas - one space designated for dogs under 30 pounds, timid dogs and aging dogs, and another for larger, more active dogs. St. Agatha Lions Community Park

Description This 6.76 acre community park features a lit softball diamond, junior playground and picnic shelter. It is home to the Annual Strawberry Festival in June.
