Becoming a firefighter is one of the most challenging, fast-paced and rewarding professions available. Firefighting has created a sense of community that continues in the commitment of today's volunteer firefighters, this is evident through their effort and dedication in providing fire protection services to their local areas and the larger community.
Being a volunteer firefighter is both rewarding and challenging. This profession requires you to dedicate time to responding to emergency calls and to commit to many hours of training, but the benefits are many.

Recruitment and Events |
Wilmot Fire Department currently provides fire protection services from fire stations located in the communities of Baden, New Hamburg and New Dundee, and we are currently recruiting Firefighters to join our ranks.
There is no experience required. Firefighters will complete provided training and learn how to conduct pre-planning activities, post-fire inspection and clean up, and maintain lifesaving equipment.
