Becoming a firefighter is one of the most challenging, fast-paced and rewarding professions available. Firefighting has created a sense of community that continues today in the commitment of volunteer firefighters, and is evident through their effort and dedication in providing fire protection services to local areas and the larger community.
Being a firefighter requires you to dedicate time to responding to emergency calls and to commit to many hours of training. There are many benefits.

Recruitment and Events |
Wilmot Fire Department currently provides fire protection services from fire stations located in the communities of Baden, New Hamburg and New Dundee. We are currently recruiting firefighters to join our ranks. There is no experience required. Firefighters will complete the training provided and learn how to conduct pre-planning activities, post-fire inspection and cleanup, and maintain lifesaving equipment. Open House EventsThe Wilmot Fire Department hosted three information nights for interested applicants to learn more about the Fire Department and to ask questions before submitting their applications.
