We know that many of you are becoming impatient wanting to help. So far, the needs that would normally be covered by volunteers have been managed through redeploying existing staff and volunteers from various organizations and municipalities. These staff are already trained to work with the client groups and Personal Protective Equipment and so have been able to be placed quickly to meet emergency needs.
For more information on how and when you can get involved as a volunteer during the COVID-19 pandemic, please visit the Volunteer Action Centre to compete their application.
