Birth Certificates are issued by the Province of Ontario for anyone born in Ontario. All requests for new or replacement Certificates must be filed with Service Ontario.
If you want to print off an application for a Birth Certificate but do not have access to a printer, please come to the Township Offices and we can provide you with a copy.
Other Government Identification
The Township of Wilmot does not issue any form of identification but we can direct you where to go to get the most common types.
Ontario Driver's Licence and Health Card
Like the Birth Certificate, you need to connect with Service Ontario for a Driver's Licence or Health Card provided you are eligible. Service Ontario can answer your questions about eligibility.
Canadian Passports
Canadian Passports are the responsibility of the Canadian Government and are administered through Service Canada.
Social Insurance Number (SIN) Cards
Service Canada can also help you get a SIN card.
Other forms of identification through the Province of Ontario or Government of Canada can usually be found at Service Ontario or Service Canada. Please contact your province or country of birth if you need identification from your home country.
