Government Services
The Township of Wilmot is part of the Region of Waterloo, which means that residents receive services from both levels of government. Some services are delivered by the Township, while others are delivered by the Region.
Property taxes help pay for the services provided by the Township and the Region. A portion of property taxes is also paid to the Province of Ontario and used to fund local elementary and secondary schools.
