Training
The Wilmot Fire Department currently provides ongoing training and retraining in all aspects of firefighting.
In 2014 the Wilmot Fire Department hired a Part-time Training Officer/Public Educator who has been tasked to provide an annual training program that includes all of the key core functions. The Training Officer/Public Educator is the department's single point of contact for the coordination of training activities across the department and will continue to develop, deliver and monitor these programs.

- NFPA 1001 Firefighter Curriculum
- Fire Officer Training
- Specialty Training Programs (Hazardous Materials Responses, Shore based Ice/Water Rescue & Technical Rescue Operations/ Low angle rescue only).
