Yesterday, Canada Post employees announced a national strike, which will impact all incoming and outgoing mail delivery at the Township of Wilmot. 

The Township would like to inform the public about ongoing construction work around Snyder’s Rd. W and Foundry St.

The award-winning Taste the Countryside initiative returns for its fifth year, celebrating local food, community, and culinary creativity across North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot, and Woolwich Townships. 

Mayor Natasha Salonen, along with Councillors Stewart Cressman and Steve Martin, represented Wilmot Township at this year's Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) Conference in Ottawa. In response to recent rainfall, the Townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich are lifting the open burn ban that has been in place since August 7.

Effective October 1st, 2025, a $2.50 fee will apply to paper issued tax and utility bills.

His contract will run through February 2027, providing experienced and stable leadership as Wilmot navigates a critical period of transformation.

The Township of Wilmot is preparing a new Official Plan to guide development throughout its rural and urban communities until 2051.
