FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE   Wilmot Council Takes Significant Step to Support Nithview Long Term Care Home Rebuild and Expansion  BADEN, ON – September 23, 2024 – In a pivotal decision at tonight's Council meeting, Wilmot Council demonstrated its commitment to enhancing access to long-term care in Wilmot Township by approving a grant to Tri-County Mennonite Homes (TCMH) for the Nithview Long-Term Care Home rebuild and expansion project.

The Grand River Accessibility Advisory Committee (GRAAC) is currently recruiting new members from across the region who have lived experience, or experience and knowledge in the field of disability.

The Township of Wilmot administrative offices on 60 Snyder’s Rd. W. will be closed on Labour Day, Monday, Sept. 2, reopening on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 8:30 a.m.

Registration for the Township of Wilmot’s 2024 Fall Recreation Program opens on Thursday, Sept. 5 for residents and Thursday, Sept. 12 for non-residents.

The 6:30 a.m. lane swim at the Wilmot Recreation Centre has been cancelled for Tuesday, Aug. 20.
