BADEN, ONT.— The Township of Wilmot is developing a new Arts and Culture Master Plan, and has hired the team of STEPS Public Art (Sustainable Thinking and Expression on Public Space) to bring its expertise to this project.

WILMOT, ONT.— The Township of Wilmot is developing a new Strategic Plan that will serve the community and provide Wilmot Council with tools for decision-making from 2024 to 2027.

The Township of Wilmot administrative offices on 60 Snyder’s Rd. W. will be closed on Labour Day, Monday, Sept. 2, reopening on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 8:30 a.m.

Firefighting is a challenging and fast-paced career that offers many rewards and brings out the best in those who serve the community. Recruitment for new volunteer firefighters begins this fall in Wilmot.

BADEN, ONT.— Today’s seniors are living longer and are more active, but too many still suffer from social isolation, according to Government of Canada information.

Registration for the Township of Wilmot’s 2024 Fall Recreation Program opens on Thursday, Sept. 5 for residents and Thursday, Sept. 12 for non-residents.

The 6:30 a.m. lane swim at the Wilmot Recreation Centre has been cancelled for Tuesday, Aug. 20.

BADEN, ONT.— Voting is now open for Wilmot’s 2024 Citizen of the Year Awards, which recognize inspiring Wilmot residents in the categories of athletics, community service and culture as well as seniors and youth.

Waterloo Region - Regional staff has identified a large water pipe that needs repair and will shut it off for these repairs from approximately August 19-25.
